Here is the rack that I designed.  It was designed for the Marine Corp to go in a UH-1 Helicopter.
(I designed the non-electronic part)

The following pictures are from my resulting trip to Yuma, Arizona to install the rack in a UH-1 helicopter for testing and implementation.

Mechanical Engineer is not synonymous with mechanic :)

Although there wasn't much of a night life, there were plenty of things to see.

Since this trip, I have also installed this rack in a helicopter in Quantico, Virginia and I will be flying out to Camp Pendleton, CA in a few weeks for another exercise.
