This being the 9th annual trip makes it hard to post pictures that aren't just repeats from years past so here is a sampling of what went on this year.  Most of us arrived on Wednesday night around 5pm at our standard meeting place, Nightspot/Outback Pizza.  After 9 hours in a car, we were all ready for a few drinks and a pizza.  After that, we headed up the mountain.   We arrived to find that the house had some renovations done to it.  Mainly, the kitchen was totally redone and the outside deck (still with hot tub) was extended around the side of the house.

Once the initial claiming of the beds and unpacking was finished, the vacation was ready to begin.  I was able to get up the next morning in time to catch the sunrise.  What a great view.  Of coarse, this picture was taken at 6:30am so I went right back to bed after taking it :) Frank took the second picture much later in the day.

Some people were ready to ski each morning when the slopes opened trying to be the first skiers on the freshly groomed slopes.  Some of us weren't exactly out there first thing.

When we finally got out on the slopes the snow conditions were great.  We encountered the usual ice areas and late day moguls but the overall experience was good.  There weren't a lot of pictures taken during the skiing, mostly movies.  I will hope to get the movies posted in the near future because that is were the real fun was captured (sorry Mark, your crashes had to be documented)

Coming into the house from the trail is a 20 ft hill ending in a flat area for stopping.  Much to our amusement, there was already a jump in place at the bottom of the hill.  The jump provided some good fun for most;

and different results for others;

In between all the skiing, there was plenty of time to relax.  Some took advantage of this more than others :)

there were games of pool;

chilling out in the hot tub;

some friendly games of bridge, hearts, trivial pursuit, and asshole;

and the second annual snowmobile tour.

We had some good crashes (not quite as many as in the past, maybe we are getting too cautious in our old age) but in the end, Amanda won out with her 300 yard slide down Superstar without her skis.  This coupled with her first attempt at a jump coming into the house got her enough votes to beat out Jamie's fall getting out of the hot tub and the sheer number of bone crunching falls from Mark.

With all vacations, though, there must be an end.  We got up Sunday morning and started to clean, pack, and prepare for our long trip home.
