Lake Gaston is a man made lake located on the border of North Carolina and Virginia about an hour south of Richmond.  It is about 25 miles long with a lot of little bays and channels.  Sue, Mike and Lisa came up from North Carolina and brought their boat.  Frank, Aimee, Lisa (w/ the Goblin), Jesse, Kristin, Nuke, and myself came down from Virginia.  We rented a very nice house located on the water in one of the many little bays.

Saturday, we got out in the boat early for a few ski runs before it got really rough..

Later that day, it was time for tubing and wake boarding.

The lake certainly had a lot of beautiful houses and scenery.

There were a lot of Blue Herons in the area

Sunday morning, we packed up and headed back to Northern Virginia..
