Rome:
June 7th through June 10th
Rome was amazing. As soon as we got there we went straight to the Coloseum. We got a tour of the Coloseum:
From there we saw the Arch of Constantine:
the Arch of Titus:
the Roman Forum:
the Arch of Septimus Severus:
Vittorio Emanuelle Building:
and much, much more:
Day two, we took the metro to Vatican City where we got to see the Pope giving his weekly diatribe in the middle of St. Peter's Square:
After that, we took a tour of the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel:
On our way back to the hotel, we walked to Piazza Navona:
the Pantheon:
Trevi Fountain:
and the Spanish Steps:
On day three, I walked to Trastevere and Girabaldi Square, a hilly section of Rome with a view that overlooks the city:
