Leah arrived on April 6th, 2010 at 4:34pm.  She weighed in at 6 lbs 14 ozs and was 19.5 inches long.  Her head measured 13 cm.

At Leah's 1 year appointment she weighed in at 18 lbs 14 ozs and was 28 inches long.  Her head measured 44 cm.

Wow, the first year went quick.  How many kids can say they spent their first Thanksgiving in China, First Christmas in Japan and first birthday in Singapore (well, 10 days after her birthday but close enough).  She is walking on her own and has 5 teeth.  She has moved into the Toddler room at her school and is picking things up very quickly.

Okinawa is such a wonderful place.  Winter is ending.  We just got back from Singapore and have our Hong Kong trip coming up in May.  Mainland Japan is still scheduled for September.

We survived the earthquake and tsunami of Japan without incedence.   We are far enough south that we didn't feel the earthquake or aftershocks and the tsunami was only at half a meter when it hit the northern tip of Okinawa.  The radiation is not supposed to come any where near us.

We are still exploring as much as we can here in Okinawa.

We have Skype and a web cam to communicate with everyone while we are in Japan.  It's free to sign up and easy to use.
