It was a busy month.  We are settled in so we began our exploration of the island and are ready to begin all that there is to see while we are here.

We started out the month with a trip to the Busena Underwater Observatory and Glass Bottom Boat ride.  We took a tour bus from Kadena AFB.  The tour also took us to the largest Jusco (mall) on the island and ended at the GODAC (Global Oceanagraphic DAta Center).

Leah at her 6 month doctor's appointment.  She checked out all healthy and normal (relatively).

Nightly walks along the ocean and to the local park.

We've been playing with a bunch of new and old toys and Leah loves empty bottles and cups to bang together.  Leah enjoyed banging on the keyboard while on Skype so I gave her her own keyboard to play with.  She'll be typing in no time.

We took a trip up north with the Shutts to the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium and stopped at Pizza in the Sky for a bite to eat.

There was a live dolphin show at the aquarium.

We are now eating fruits and vegitables as well as cereal and formula.  We are also working on using a sippy cup.

We ended the month with our ghost onesie, Halloween costume, and first bathing suit.  Although we didn't go out trick-or-treating, we had to have some candy.
